Howdy Richmond!

It's a pleasure to introduce myself – Meredith McGinnis, founder and baker at Doughpamine Bakery. I am delighted to be joining the vibrant culinary community of Richmond, Virginia.

I started baking my heart out over 20 years ago, and I have been baking – both personally and professionally – ever since. With Doughpamine Bakery, I want to create riffs on classic desserts with a focus on maximum and memorable flavors. It is my pleasure to be serving you.

As the wise Claire Saffitz says,

“I am a dessert person, and we are all dessert people.”

Happy Mother's Day! We'll be at The Veil in Scott's Addition for their Mother's Daze event, 12-5 today, with custom dessert × beer pairings. Pictured is our Tiramisu Brownie - a coffee blondie with chocolate chips and mascarpone buttercream.
The Rose Shortbread is a classic shortbread infused with organic rose petals and dipped in white chocolate -- a luxurious upgrade to a classic dessert.
